  1. Settle the finish and the heroes

    Pick the finish — first blood, the first turret or two kills — and keep the fight to the mid lane. Agree on the heroes — a mirror pick is the fairest — on items, emblems and the battle spell, and on whether the jungle is off limits, then write it in the duel’s note.

  2. Setting up the custom match

    One player opens Custom, creates a room on the Classic map and invites the other from the friends list, one hero on each side. A custom match touches neither rank nor hero mastery; take a screenshot of the final screen.

  3. Settling the result

    The winner claims the pot on DuelMe and the opponent confirms it, or admits defeat straight away; the pot is then the winner’s, to take out of the contract any time. Dispute only for something serious, like a disconnect or a cheat, and then each player takes back their own stake.
